Who we are
Certified Moments ("we", "us") runs short-form video channels on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. To publish our videos we use our own internal tool, clipforge. This policy explains what information that tool accesses and how we handle it. Questions: superclipper111@gmail.com.
What we access
clipforge is used only by the Certified Moments team, on accounts we own. When we connect one of our accounts, the platform gives clipforge an access token and basic account information. Specifically:
- YouTube (YouTube API Services): the channel's ID and title, permission to upload videos to that channel, and statistics and analytics (views, likes, comments, viewers by country and estimated revenue) for videos we uploaded.
- TikTok (Login Kit and Content Posting API): the account's basic profile (open ID, display name and avatar) and permission to upload our videos to that account.
- Instagram and Facebook: the account or Page ID and name, permission to publish Reels and Stories, and insights (views, likes, comments, shares, followers by country) for our own posts.
How we use it
This information is used only to upload our own videos to our own accounts and to see how they perform, so we can improve what we make and when we post it. It is never sold, rented, shared with third parties or used for advertising.
How we store it
Tokens and statistics are stored on our own computer, not on a public server. Statistics are refreshed at least every 30 days and older copies are replaced. Video files we publish to Instagram are briefly staged on our cloud storage so Instagram can fetch them, then removed.
What we don't do
clipforge is not offered to the public: no one else can sign up or connect an account. It does not collect information about viewers or other users, and this website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking.
Removing access and deleting data
Access can be revoked at any time: for Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook in that app's security or connected apps settings. When access is revoked, or on request by email, we delete the stored tokens and all data obtained through that platform's API within 7 days.
Platform policies
Our use of each platform's API also follows that platform's own policies: the Google Privacy Policy (YouTube API Services), the TikTok Privacy Policy and Meta's Privacy Policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date above.
